Dear University,

We’re thrilled to invite your master and postgraduate students to participate in the Global Essay Competition (GEC) 2025, hosted by the renowned St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland. This prestigious opportunity allows students to present their ideas on the global stage and engage with an extraordinary network of peers and leaders.

What’s in it for your students?

The GEC offers much more than an essay challenge – it’s a transformative experience. The top 100 participants will be invited to St. Gallen for:

  • An all-expenses-paid week in Switzerland, one of Europe’s most picturesque and inspiring locations.
  • Recognition as Leaders of Tomorrow, actively contributing to discussions with CEOs, political leaders, and thought pioneers.
  • The chance to compete for a prize pool of 20,000 US-Dollar, shared by the top three participants.

Why is the St. Gallen Symposium unique?

For over 50 years, the St. Gallen Symposium has been the go-to platform for fostering cross-generational dialogues. Its distinctive format ensures that students don’t just listen – they lead conversations that matter. By participating, students join a tradition of global impact, where big ideas are born, challenged, and celebrated.

This isn’t just another conference. It’s an opportunity to stand out, gain recognition, and leave a mark on the world stage.

Eligibility

The GEC is open exclusively to graduate and postgraduate students under the age of 30.
